Winter Retreat
Mindfulness Meditation Retreat
January 16th - 18th, 2026
Whidbey Island, Washington
Do you catch yourself saying:
“I am hitting a wall at work, and I can’t think about what I want to do next.”
“I have to fight for self-care time.”
“I am on the verge of burning myself out, and I don’t want to have health consequences.”
I hear you, sister. It is common for ambitious women, including myself, to feel overwhelmed by the noise and demands of life. The overwhelm hijacks us and we lose connection to what we truly want and need.
You yearn for:
Clarity
Spaciousness
Confidence
Connection
Purpose
You put so much energy into your career, family and relationships it would feel nice to not have to think about anyone else or the never-ending to-do list for just a day. Am I right?
You want to hear your own voice so that you can untangle your identity from your career and the various “roles you play.”
There is a yearning inside of you for something outside your comfort zone. A way for you to get clarity on the questions that keep spiraling in your mind.
You are maxed out. The only solution you can think about is quitting your job.
According to the American Psychological Association, “Psychological science has revealed that long-term stress creates risks for a variety of mental health challenges, may make us feel more sensitive even to daily hassles, can have broader impacts on our general life outlook and goals, and affects the body’s physiological response to stressors in ways that have notable implications for our physical health.”
Chronic stress is hard to evade in this chaotic world. That’s why we need to develop new resilience muscles to continue putting on our oxygen masks.
One where you feel a sense of realistic spaciousness in your mind and your calendar.
One where you can gently face the thought patterns clogging you from clarity and peace.
One where you feel connected to a sense of self so that you can show up and be more present for your community.
There is a solution and it doesn’t require a week’s worth of vacation
Join me for a mindfulness medittaion retreat that supports us getting grunded and intentional for the year ahead.
We will me on the magical Whidbey Island, Washington in a beautiful cabin.
Friday, January 16 - Sunday, January 18th.

By spending a weekend away, we will let the gifts of nature, nurture us. The darkness of the season invites us to go inwards, pause, reflect and connect.
Over the course of the weekend, we will dance between:

introspection and self-expression

Meet Your Teacher & Coach:
Wade Brill is a Mindfulness Coach, Author, Podcaster and facilitator who helps busy professionals experiencing stress and overwhelm be more present, productive and energized. At the age of 21, Wade survived Hodgkin’s Lymphoma while simultaneously losing her mother to Leukemia. This major life interruption inspired Wade to realize how precious life is and that practicing radical self-care is smart, not selfish. This is what inspired her to write the self-care guide, 100 Mindful Moments to Balance & Energize. During this life interruption, meditation became a healing and powerful “medicine” to navigate the overwhelm and uncertainty of life.
Wade devotes her life’s work to helping others connect to their own inspiration. Wade is a Professional Certified Coach, Energy Leadership Index™ Practitioner, and Meditation teacher through UCLA’s Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Wade sits on the Executive Board of the International Mindfulness Teacher Association. She hosts the popular Centered in the City podcast and is the creator of the Centered in the City on-demand platform, offering modern meditations and self-care resources for busy professionals. Wade has also taught Pilates for the last 17 years and feels passionate about how mindful movement helps us live more intentionally in our bodies.
Wade is a recognized speaker at conferences, companies and retreats. Wade helps busy professionals create calm and clarity amid chaos and realize the importance of their one mind, one body, and one life.
